Angie and Brad Have Yet to Tie the Knot

There is no other couple in Hollywood right now that makes entertainment headlines quite like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The couple, who is expecting their first child together in just a couple more months, are constantly being watched by entertainment magazines and fans to see when they will finally tie the knot. Even online casino sites are getting bombarded with entertainment bettors hoping to win some cash when the couple finally says "I do". However, this past weekend was not a winning weekend for anyone hoping that the couple would wed at their friend`s villa in Italy.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie shattered rumors that they were to be married at their friend George Clooney?s Italian villa this weekend, by not showing up. All eyes were on the town of Laglio on Lake Como on Saturday, after it was reported that Hollywood?s hottest couple would wed there, but press and the Italian town?s officials were left disappointed when Brangelina failed to put in an appearance. Mayor Simona Saladini says she?d been told to remain on standby to perform official duties on Saturday night, plus police and a private security firm had increased security around George?s villa. However, she failed to say who had tipped her off.

"I have been mayor since 2003 and they would be the most famous couple to be married here," she stated on Saturday morning. The Mayor of Laglio previously dashed hopes of the wedding happening by revealing that building work around Clooney?s villa would have made any ceremony there almost impossible. Before the no-show, the town had gone Brangelina crazy but the nearest they got to seeing the couple exchange their vows was watching two guys dressed up as Brad and Ange kiss, and a George Clooney look-alike putting in an appearance.
