Calace stated that use of the swastika is a hate crime, and is an image consistent in what is being promoted by most trusted Catholic organizations as an underlying message. Sex and horror is the fuel that promotes the scandalous behavior in the Church, not only from priests themselves, but also from ordinary people that view this material which is found directly in the pews of Churches as well as the Internet.
