The Performer?s Academy for Summer Camp 2006

If you`re child is into music, art, drama, and any of the other fine and performing arts, then The Performer`s Academy as a summer camp option this year is definitely the way to go. Natalie Costa, the academy?s founder, believes that this year`s camp will be the best. Last year we had waiting lists to enroll, so this year we are adding more of everything, more weeks, more choreographers, and voice coaches and a whole lot of fun!`

Camping with The Performer?s Academy is simple. There?s an early morning drop off at 8:30 AM with a light breakfast available for those who need a snack. The day starts off with fun and games to get the juices flowing and moves into acting, dancing, singing and the week ends with a full production for family and friends.

Camp will be spear headed by David Blair and accomplished tenor, actor and theatre director. Included in the mix will be some of the area?s best chorographers and voice coaches. Productions will include snippets of plays and popular musicals like Grease, Annie, and a Tribute to Broadway. Each week campers will learn how to break down a play, and take part in the casting and development of the production. They will learn songs and dances and how to perform on stage.
