Sunshine Factory Presents `LEGACY`

`LEGACY: Places and Faces by Three Generations of Artists`, presented by Sunshine Factory, is delighted bring this new exhibit of a selection of artwork by celebrated WPA printmaker Hyman Warsager, his son, Randy Warsager and his granddaughter, Allegra Warsager. This is definitely a unique and special art show and exhibition.

Representing a broad range of styles, techniques and subjects, Hyman Warsager?s inventive and masterfully-crafted prints depict largely urban and rural landscapes that celebrate nature and the common man.

Born in 1909, Hyman Warsager received formal art training at the Pratt Institute and at the American Artists School. Employed by the Graphic Arts Division of the WPA/Federal Arts Project in New York City from 1935-1939, Warsager, along with Anthony Velonis, developed the silk-screen process which changed the course of printmaking.
