The People In Entertainment that Make America Great

There are people in Hollywood who are strictly there for their own personal gain. Either to become rich beyond their wildest dreams or famous, celebrities turn to both for the pure selfish reasoning. However, among all those money hungry entertainment stars, there are a few who really work hard at making a difference in the US and around the globe. In recognition of these people, Newsweek decided to create a list of the "15 People Who Make America Great", most of which are in the entertainment industry.

One of the most famous entertainment celebs to make the list was the one and only Brad Pitt. The Hollywood hunk, and new dad, was credited by Newsweek fore being able to turn his star power into making a difference. Brad and his entertainment industry girlfriend, Angelina Jolie, decided to move to Namibia in order to give birth to their daughter. The sole reason behind this was to bring awareness of the poverty stricken country to people who can help repair these massive problems.

Among other charitable work that Pitt has done Newsweek noted that the celeb couple chose to sell photographs of their new baby to major entertainment news magazines, such as People and Hello!. All money made by these sales were donated to charities and Pitt was quoted saying, "Knowing that someone was going to hound us for that first photo -- and was going to profit immensely for doing it -- I just couldn`t live with it. We were able to turn that around and collect millions for people who are really going to need it". See, Hollywood celebrities can make a difference too!
