Brad Pitt Beat Out Leonardo DiCaprio
Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston created a production company when they were together. Today, although they are no longer an item, and Brad has clearly moved on, the entertainment production group is still in the hands of Pitt. The company, known as Plan B, has been linked to many films including several documentaries, and the company is growing strong in the entertainment industry.
Recently, both Brad Pitt`s company, Plan B, and Leonardo DiCaprio`s production company, Appian Way, were battling over the film rights for a book called "World War Z". The upcoming horror book was written by Max Brooks, who has years of experience working in the entertainment industry. The writer worked for "Saturday Night Live" from 2001-2003 and also did voice-overs for the cartoon series "Justice League".
"World War Z" is a zombie horror novel set 10 years ago after a global zombie epidemic took the world by storm. In addition to this zombie novel, Max Brooks has also written "Zombie Survival Guide", which became a huge cult hit. Because of his success in writing, Plan B and Appian Way were fighting hard to gain the rights, after much discussion it turned out that Brad Pitt was the winner with his studio Paramount Pictures. Hopefully this movie adaptation will be the entertainment hit that both Plan B and Brad Pitt are hoping for.
