Lohan Leaving Her Teen Years Behind

Turning 20 may be exactly what entertainment hotshot Lindsay Lohan needs right now. The star, who has been in a slew of successful movies including "Mean Girls" and "Herbie Fully Loaded", has stated that she wants out of her kiddie persona. Recently, she has given interviews for many high profile entertainment/fashion magazines such as Vanity Fair, Harpers Bazaar and Allure, stating basically the same in each one: That she wants to leave her teen years behind her and enter adult hood.

Lindsay has stated that "People like to think that just because I`m young and like to enjoy my life, I`m some crazy party girl". Her hopes are to dispel these terms and try to improve upon herself so that people in the entertainment industry will see her as she really is, a Hollywood actress looking to make her fame last for a good long time. Lindsay has taken the brunt of the Hollywood gossip in recent years, with rumors going that she was/is bulimic, a drug user and a friend of plastic surgery.

Whether or not these rumors are true is yet to be determined. Regardless of the truth behind them, the fact of the matter is that Lindsay is truly a skilled actress, who, if she handles her career correctly, is certain to see many successful years in the entertainment industry. Her latest film, "A Prairie Home Companion", was released in the US on Friday to good reviews, she stars in the movie with acting legend Meryl Streep, who was quite impressed by the young stars acting abilities.
