Sopranos Disappoints, Again

Remember the days when every single episode of "The Sopranos" was better than the next? These times have come and gone, and so has season 6 of "The Sopranos". The mob show, which airs on HBO, was once considered to be the best show on television, providing the most entertainment physically possible by a 50 minute weekly dramedy. However, the sixth season was nothing to write home about, despite its at-the-edge-of-your-seat season opener.

The season started with Uncle Junior shooting poor Tony, only to be followed by two episodes where Tony was completely unconscious. Now, I ask all of you entertainment fans out there, is it really "The Sopranos" if Tony is not really in the show? The answer of course, NO! But, alas, Tony returned and we all believed that things would be back to normal and great for the series. We were wrong? again.

The final episode of the season left views with neither answers nor a cliffhanger to hold on to. There was nothing spectacular, no one died, no one was arrested, it was basically the complete opposite of the season 5 finally, which left viewers thirsty for more. Hopefully, the last 8 episodes of the serious, which are to air in 2007, will be a bit more entertaining than this season. Let`s hope the writers think of a great way to end what was once the greatest show in the history of television.
