Uma Thurman`s New Super Role

The entertainment fans are already used to Uma Thurman`s extreme characters on the big screen. Mia Wallace in "Pulp Fiction", a sword-wielding bride in the two "Kill Bill" films, and some other roles such as a bisexual hippie hitchhiker, a virginal 18th-century convent girl and the goddess Venus ? all these supply entertainment and excitement to the audiences. In her latest film "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" Thurman plays two extreme roles at once. The first one is Jenny Johnson, a neurotic, clumsy brunette who can fall in love after one ordinary date. But she is also secretly the superhero G-Girl, a blond bombshell that can fly, throw cars and burn through metal with her eyes.

The 36-years-old entertainment star talked to The Associated Press about her new role. She likes this role because of her love to comedy, something she always wanted to do. Although she was often worried that she would look silly on screen as a superhero, Thurman finds some of the G-Girl`s powers very appealing ? such as flying and, of course, the super sex.

When asked "What`s next in the entertainment career?" the actress answers: "I`m going to do this wonderful drama called "In Bloom," and we`re making it soon. It`s very exciting. Evan Rachel Wood is playing me as a younger person, I`m playing her as an older person and we split the movie in half equally."
