More and More Fashion Brand by Teen Stars

Hilary Duff, the eighteen-year-old actress and singer that begins to be very popular in the entertainment world, plans to imitate the success of the mary-kateandashley clothes brand. The young entertainment star plans to bomb stores with a mass of products from clothing to home decor. As experts say, more and more teen stars will try to turn their celebrity status into merchandising power among young public, as did the Olsen twins. Their brand is an "eye opener" and now everyone is following their successful way.

Duff will be coming out with products designed for preteen girls this fall. The label on the merchandise will be "Stuff by Hilary Duff" and it will be sold in stores like Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Kohl`s Corp. Along with others there will be hot pink fabric handbags and cropped black jackets, which are so in fashion these days among the young entertainment divas.

Ashley Olsen says: "Mary-Kate and I are proud we have paved the way for others and wish everyone as much success as we continue to have". However, it is not new that entertainment stars market their products. Plenty of celebrities are designing clothes and marketing fragrance, from Jessica Simpson to Jennifer Lopez. What is different now is the age of the audiences. Duff and others like her re teens building merchandising empires aimed at their young peers, an age group where celebrity power is more influential than among adults.
