McPhee Isn`t Joining the Gang

Katharine McPhee may not have come in first on the last season of the very entertaining "American Idol", but that doesn`t exempt her from performing in the US tour of "American Idols Live", or does it? Apparently, right before the US tour began on Wednesday, the new "Idol" star came down with severe bronchitis and laryngitis, which seriously disappoint entertainment fans.

McPhee has been in entertainment headlines recently discussing her previous issues with bulimia and other similar eating disorders. Let`s hope that this new entry in the entertainment world has not redeveloped her problems, which could prevent her from performing. But "American Idols Live" must go forward, with or without Katharine McPhee.

It is still unknown when she will join the group for the rest of their US tour, but McPhee does seem genuinely disappointed that she is not currently involved. In a recent statement the young entertainment star stated that, "I need to follow my doctor?s orders to recuperate and reunite with the rest of the idols?. She further claimed that the most difficult part about the illness is the fact that she can not speak.
