The "Survivor" Curse Continues Forward
In the past few months the entertainment and tabloid magazines have had quite a few stories regarding past "Survivor" contestants and winners. For starters, Richard Hatch was sentenced to jail for tax evasion, when he failed to pay taxes on the million dollars he won on the first season of "Survivor". During trials, this reality entertainment star claimed that he thought that the million was after taxes.
Apparently, he believed that CBS and the producers would take care of the taxes, and Hatch could just walk away with a clean million. Clearly, Richard failed to read his contract correctly, or perhaps he believed that the IRS didn`t enjoy any form of entertainment. Oh well, either way Hatch will be in jail for quite a few months. Next up was the "Survivor" star who got suspended from work because he lied about why he would be absent for several weeks. He failed to tell his employee he was going on tour with "Survivor" and instead blamed his absence on illness.
The newest "Survivor" oops was done by Brian Heidik, winner of "Survivor: Thailand". He was arrested Wednesday after allegedly shooting a puppy. During questioning Brian claimed that he believed the puppy was a coyote, and thus shot it down with an arrow. Who here thinks that a puppy looks like a coyote?? Yeah, we figured as much. Stay tuned for further developments in this entertainment headline.
