Things May Seem Odd in Television Entertainment

The Emmy Awards celebrates the best in the world of television entertainment, and each year the biggest and best shows get nominated for awards. This year however, things are looking a bit odd at the Emmy Awards headquarters, it seems that they have forgotten who the biggest winners were last year and also what shows got cancelled mid-season.

Let`s start with the fact that last years biggest TV entertainment winners were "Lost" and "Desperate Housewives", the shows took best drama and best comedy respectively. This year, neither show is being nominated for an Emmy Award, with the exception of Alfre Woodard`s role in "Desperate Housewives". In addition to these snubs, "The Sopranos" only took home one nomination for best drama, but neither James Gandolfini nor Edie Falco were recognized for there work.

Perhaps these shows were snubbed for good reason, for example, the heads of entertainment at the Emmy academy are sick and tired about not knowing the truth about "Lost", the fact that Carlos cheated on his wife in "Desperate Houswives" was rather infuriating and frankly, who isn`t angry that it took forever for "The Sopranos" to get back on the air.
