Knightley Made a Great Choice

If any of you entertainment fans out there have seen either the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean" or "Love Actually", then you should know Keira Knightley quite well. The young, and quite pretty, British actress is best known for her role is "Pirates" and for that in "Pride & Prejudice", for which she won an Oscar nomination. However, Knightley may have not been as well known as she is today, had she followed her instinct.

Apparently, and Knightley has only strengthened these claims, when she received the script for "Pirates of the Caribbean" she had little interest in doing the film. She and Orlando Bloom, the Aussie hottie co-star from "Pirates", were sure the movie would be flop, but figured that they would go along with it, seeing it as at least a good job. Luckily for them, and the rest of the cast and crew of "Pirates" this was not the case.

After it`s release, "Pirates of the Caribbean" became the number one most entertainment packed movie of the summer, and it has happened again this year as well, with the first of two sequels to the movie having been released. Keira must be very pleased with the fact that the movie did not bomb, as she is in the sequel, and will also be involved in the third "Pirates" film, which should be hitting the theaters May 2007.
