VooDooDog Creative House Wins Silver in New York
VooDooDog, Emmy-nominated London creative house, have recently won the Silver Award for Best Main Titles for their end credit sequence from the film `Nanny McPhee` at the New York Festivals. The sequence follows the seven naughty children from the film, as they cause havoc and mayhem in their Victorian world.
Kirk Jones, Director of `Nanny McPhee says, `It is not unusual for title sequences to be left so late that there is too little time to produce anything of quality. VooDooDog took an initial brief and within a short space of time delivered a sequence so charming, original and well designed that my only concern was whether audiences would leave the cinema praising their titles more than my film!``
This is the second year in a row that VooDooDog has won at the New York Festivals, last year they won the Gold Medal for their EMMY Nominated opening animated title sequence for HBO`s `The Life and Death of Peter Sellers`. Emma Thompson, Actor and Screenwriter of `Nanny McPhee` thinks that `VooDooDog has created a credit sequence for `Nanny McPhee` filled with color and wit and fun. The drawings are quirky, cheeky and original in exactly the ways we wanted the film to be, dark and light in exactly the right balance.`
