Reaching To the Stars Through Script

Everything changes - that is the one constant in life. For one person, noting these life-altering changes is not only her job, but her true passion. `There is a clock on the wall that is stuck on 11:10. She is definitely going to become more and more known.

By the time she started elementary school, the young lady had already written stories and songs that amazed her mother. As the baby of five and now Adlerian-therapist-in-training, Kirsten developed in ways unlike any of her four siblings. She comes from a creative family, but she is clearly the entertainment visionary of the bunch. She has a unique ability to speak life into stories. When Corey Ramey, hubby and partner comes up with an original idea, it`s usually a matter of weeks before Kirsten presents a marketable script to him.

When the two indie filmmakers decided to stop waiting for a break and create one, they realized that creating a buzz was the key. `We always knew we had to take baby steps,` says Corey. `We never expected it to happen overnight.` Kirsten even wrote in their indie hit, Proud, Mary `I ain`t trying to crawl until my knees get carpet burns,` in relation to the saying `one must crawl before he walks.` As spiritual individuals, they believe that their spirituality is the key to everything. With Proud, Mary, the goal was to tell a story of one woman`s pain without being too preachy. Didactic films aren`t their style. Cool People Ent. takes a real approach to tackle real issues. The next project doesn`t have such a modest budget and will hopefully attract some Hollywood stars to it. `All I`m saying is...it`s a love story. My testimony about Corey, about my kids, my family, my art,` remarks Kirsten who believes that audiences will really `dig` the next project. The company also has plans to produce a semi-autobiographical story that is sure to shock audiences.
