`Earl` In The Fabulous Crosshairs of Hardesty and Griffith Shingle
Television has changed, and most of the change happened last year with shows like My Name is Earl, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Scrubs, hit the networks. Chuck Griffith was just starting to pitch television projects around town at that time, during his search he came upon the super enthusiastic TV Personality Johnny Hardesty (MTV`s Trailer Fabulous).
The `shoot-from-the-hip` comedy he proposes, `Another Day in the Life` offers laughs around a thirty-something failure, Gunner Rivera, wakes up one morning wanting to attempt a far reaching career path while his film-school grad roommate, Emily Rothschild, wishes to make a documentary about Gunner`s feeble and fruitless attempts, each episode provides a new career path, but acts like the same day from hence he woke up in this `Groundhog`s Day` meets `The Comeback` meets `MTV`s Made` comedy.
`When I met Johnny, it just clicked. What makes this guy tick? He had wit, he had style, and he just thinks without any limitation,` muses Griffith. `When he suggested that we collaborate on a television show idea, I jumped at the chance. Everyone dreams of being something, who wouldn`t want to get that chance all over again to try something else,` Griffith, 30, excitedly said.
