Oprah Partners with Solana for Gates Exclusive

Oprah Winfrey and Solana Productions have teamed up to shoot Oprah`s top-secret, exclusive interview with software billionaire Bill Gates and his wife Melinda. The interview will take place in San Diego this week. The interview will take an in-depth look at the lives of two of the richest and most famous people in the world.

The trio was in San Diego to tour two high schools that have benefited from Gates` charitable foundation. Solana Productions, Inc. provided a crew of seven to videotape Winfrey and the power couple as they toured the schools and met with students and administrators. The crew also set up two `studios` inside one school`s library for interviews.

Other media outlets got word of what was happening once the visits began, but were barred from entering. Oprah and the Gates were adamant that the event be about private visits with the students and not a media circus. `Maintaining secrecy was a challenge as the crew expanded for this event,` said Solana Productions owner Kurt Snider. `But we understood what would happen if word got out, so we tried very hard to keep things very quiet on our end.`
