Winners Announced for Pixarra`s January TwistedBrush Art Competition

Pixarra`s January TwistedBrush art competition decided to do a theme this year - portraits. With special requirements, entrants had to paint the portraits using only the TwistedBrush digital painting software. Choosing from the many outstanding portraits submitted the judges decided on the top three entries. First place is awarded to The Duke by Ral, second place is awarded to Marilyn by nOnO, and third place is awarded to Adam by Melanie.

TwistedBrush since it`s inception has included traditional artist tools, such as oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolors, airbrushes, pencils, charcoal, pens, chalk, markers and oil pastels. Under the covers is a high performance 64 bit brush engine that achieves smooth blends and responsive brush strokes. In addition to the above features and variety of brushes, traditional style masks, paper textures, scripting, tracing paper, photo cloning and gradients are some of the other features present.
