Memoir Teaches About Love
Australian author Anne Whitfield and Blue Leaf Publications Indigo Blue Division proudly announce the release of `A Love Past`. This e-Nouvelle is a story that crosses the barrier of time. Lexi, at a crossroads in her life, inadvertantly finds a journal written in the 1940s. She learns of an amazing love affair by reading the memoir, discovering through the written experiences that by communicating with her husband and listening to him in return, her own loneliness and confusion could be healed.
`From the first moment ours eyes met,` the diarist writes, `and he winked at me despite his pain, I was lost. I didn`t know it then, but the man who lay on the stretcher covered in blood, mud and the sorrows of war would be the only man I ever would love. The one man who would come to mean everything to me in this life and beyond.`
Anne Whitfield is a member of Romance Writers of Australia, The Australian Society of Authors, and of several local and online Historical Societies. Married with three children, her passions, apart from writing historical fiction novels and contemporary short stories, are reading medieval novels, collecting Victorian diaries, roaming historical sites, buying books and gardening.` A Love Past is excellent writing at its finest,` says reviewer, Cherokee, of Coffee Time Romance. `This story will absolutely touch the heart... Ms. Whitfield ... is a gifted writer and it speaks in this story.`
