Cell Phones Pick Hollywood`s Next `Dead Girl`s Club` Actors

Cell phones are helping pick the new young Hollywood actors of tomorrow. How? Two lucky young people will be voted as the stars of the next thriller, `Dead Girl`s Club` by cell phone users. `What a great way to launch new careers,` comments Nick O`s mother from Simi Valley, California. `Thanks for giving these kids a break, a chance to be seen - and hope.` Nick is just one young actor currently entered into this unique acting contest.

Video entries are flooding in from all over the U.S. and in the past month alone, the official movie website has had a jaw-dropping 500,000+ hits. Why? It is because this acting audition can be done anywhere in America. `I am an actor and happen to live in Minneapolis. Not exactly the entertainment capital,` according to Sherry T. Until I can move to LA, this is a great opportunity to try to get exposure and secure roles.` In fact, people can audition from anywhere - their living room, garage, friend?s house, wherever.

Award-winning independent filmmaker Rolf Schrader has launched this national contest that lets young hopefuls win a part in his upcoming thriller. `Our American Scream Queen & King Contest is all about giving new faces a shot at their dream,` says Schrader. And, there`s still plenty of time to enter, but videos must be in by March 3rd, 2006. Entry is free into this acting contest aimed at 15 to 25 year olds.
