Oprah to Produce Two New Reality Programs

It seems the Oprah Winfrey`s media empire is unstoppable. Oprah is expanding her operations in the media into the realm of reality television. Her production company is currently working on two prime time shows for ABC, holding the temporary names ?Oprah Winfrey?s The Big Give? and ?Your Money or Your Life,? Announced both ABC and the production company, Harpo. The deal, indicating Oprah`s plans to enter more ground in the television world, arrived only 3 months after Harpo started a new group to develop new alternative television shows.

The Big Give will give away money and equipment to 10 individuals and will challenge them to help others. On the way the competitor`s wit and greed will be put to the test. The lucky winner will be granted his wildest dream. The show Your Money or Your Life, which is in early stages of development, will exhibit families dealing with crisis. These families will have to cope with these difficulties or else they will be consumed by disaster. What this disaster is exactly is at this time unclear.

Harpo, which produces Oprah`s daily show, also produces some other television projects, as well as, Oprah`s website and together with LCC Print publishes "O", Oprah`s magazine. Neither Harpo nor ABC could say when the two new shows will make there debut appearance but many of Oprah`s millions of fans are greatly awaiting the chance to consume more and more of Oprah`s high quality entertainment, and some may say, way of life.
