Oprah to launch reality shows

Oprah Winfrey is working on not one but two prime-time reality television series for ABC. The shows` tentative titles are "Oprah Winfrey`s The Big Give" and "Your Money or Your Life." The former will have Oprah hand out cash to 10 contestants who will then compete in helping other people. Giving out cash and gifts, and helping people are two main themes in Oprah`s career. The winner will have his or her wildest dream come true, courtesy of the media queen.

The other reality show, "Your Money or Your Life," will serve to promote and feature other aspects of Winfrey`s career. Families will deal with crises that plague them by changing or risking something. Winfrey`s role in the shows is still undetermined.

The industry is surely going to experience an effect of massive dimensions. Winfrey entering TV series can reach success rates previously achieved by her talk show, her magazine and other grand projects she has been involved with in the past that make up the Winfrey media empire. Air dates have yet to be announced.
