Britney Spears Defended by her New Best Friend

Paris Hilton, hotel heiress and popular socialite, has come to the defense of her friend, Britney Spears. The latter has been dragged through the mud by the media lately for spending too much time partying and therefore neglecting her two young infant sons. On her web page, Paris Hilton has blasted those who have criticized Spears for dancing her nights away instead of being home with her babies. "Britney loves her kids to death, and I know for a fact that it truly hurts her when she sees these cruel things being written about her. She goes home every night to her babies and partying has not come in the way of her parenting," she wrote.

Britney Spears has admitted that she has perhaps taken her newfound freedom too far in her recent escapades. While she justified the fact that she was having a blast now that she was finally single after two years of marriage to Kevin Federline, she did say that her antics may have been a little too much to stomach ? especially when she was photographed at least three times stepping out of a car and clearly wearing no panties. Needless to say, the pictures were sent off into cyberspace at mind-boggling speed.

While Paris Hilton, Britney?s New Best Friend, may have warm words for the pop star, other Hollywood professionals have attacked the singer for displaying her wild-child side so much in public. They feel that as a mother of two children, she should be setting an example and toning things down a little. Paris Hilton, however, snubbed these sentiments by adding, ?She`s young, and if she wants to go out and have some fun, let her."
