Diana?s Sons to Honor her Memory with a Rock Concert

Before her death, Princess Diana of Wales, became one of the first royals to remove the stuffy packaging surrounding the inhabitants of Windsor Castle and bring them closer to the common people. She was what experts called ?hands-on? ? meaning that she had no qualms about visiting elderly people or hugging AIDS inflicted orphans in Africa. She was also a great fan of contemporary music and loved to socialize with rock stars.

In honor of their mother?s memory and as a tribute to her on the tenth anniversary of her death, Diana?s two son?s, Prince William and Prince Harry are planning a rock concert to be held in Wembley Stadium in London in July, 2007. At present, the stadium is undergoing a face-lift valued at $1.5-billion and the princes hope that construction will be completed by the tentative date that has been set for the show.

The rock show is sure to generate some serious waves in the music industry. Already there is talk that top numbers will be performed by megastars such as Kylie Minogue, Beyonce and Madonna. The young men?s father, Prince Charles, has given his full backing to the project and the organizers say that all the proceeds will go towards African charities, in memory of a woman who used her popular public profile to work towards the goodwill of underprivileged children.
