Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson Separated

According to an entertainment magazine, the Oscar-nominated actress Kate Hudson and her husband rocker Chris Robinson are splitting up after almost six years of marriage. They got married on New Year`s Eve in 2000 and have a two-year-old son, whose name is Ryder Russell Robinson. The actress`s publicist said: "Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson have confirmed that they are separated". Hudson, 27, is the daughter of Goldie Hawn, the well-known in the entertainment world, while Robinson, 39, is the lead singer of "The Black Crowes".

Kate Hudson, who was nominated for an Oscar in 2001 for her role in the film Almost Famous, is also well-known to the entertainment fans by her roles in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Raising Helen and The Skeleton Key. Hudson is currently starring in You, Me and Dupree, with Matt Dillon and Owen Wilson. Last month she won a libel action against the National Enquirer entertainment magazine after it published an article suggesting she had an eating disorder.

The entertainment magazine published pictures claiming to show Hudson as "painfully thin" and said her mother, Hollywood star Goldie Hawn, had urged her to "eat something". But lawyers of the entertainment magazine admitted the claims were false and agreed to pay damages for the distress caused.
