Madonna Takes to the Road Again
Great news for Pop fans, and music lovers everywhere! Madonna, one of the best pop singers ever, has revealed she will take to the road again, as part of her upcoming world tour, which will start in Los Angeles in May. Madonna is known for her great live performances. Madonna preformed live at last year`s Live-Aid concert, which also featured a reuniting performance by Pink Floyd. Madonna`s performance at the event was considered one of the best performances, and expectations are high.
People who want the chance to catch a glimpse of the Queen of Pop will have to pay dearly. Members of her fan club can buy tickets from Tuesday which cost between $140 and $280. The tour, which Madonna says will ?turn the world into one big dance floor" will include dates in London, Paris, Rome, Tokyo, Las Vegas, and New York.
Fashion king Jean Paul Gaultier will design costumes for the "Hung Up" singer and her dancers. Madonna?s last tour in 2004, in which she played over 50 concerts throughout the world, earned her over ?125 million (?71 million). Which meant she earned more money from touring than any other artist did that year. With this year?s sky-high ticket prices, her bank account will no doubt yet another healthy boost.
