Bo Bice Far From Intelligent

Apparently, being a second runner up in American Idol doesn`t make you the smartest person in the entertainment industry. Would any of you entertainment fans out there try to take down an ex-NFL player? Chances are that you wouldn`t even think about it, let alone go ahead and give it a shot. But that didn`t stop singer/entertainer Bo Bice from giving it a go! American Idol runner-up Bo Bice took a couple of swings at ex-New York Giants football star Glenn Parker Sunday night at a New York City night spot.

Parker, ever the gentle giant, was kind enough not to snap Bice like a twig, and proceeded to assist the bartender in tossing the rocker out of the bar. According to reports, the `Idol` runner-up first gave the brush-off to the immensely large former offensive lineman who had just come over to say hello - then tried to punch him. "Glenn had noticed Bo and simply asked him if he was really Bo Bice - and Bo just stared at him and said, `No, I`m not. My name is Kevin,`" a witness said. "It was weird. Glenn went away, but he started feeling like he might have imposed on the guy. So he went back to him to apologize for causing any discomfort."

Parker, 39, at 6-foot-5 and 300 pounds, is a former lineman who played in the NFL for 13 years with the Giants, the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs. Imagine his surprise when Bo thought he could take him. "Bo just went at him with his fists - maybe he thought he was Simon Cowell or something, but he tried to hit him," the witness continued. It`s reported that Glenn then grabbed his arms to block the punches, but Bice broke loose and managed to graze Glenn under the chin. Parker signaled a bartender and together they threw the singer out and told him to leave. That`s what happens when you let the entertainment industry get in your head. Not a smooth move from Bice by any means!
