A Bit of Irony For Brooke

Isn`t it ironic, don`t you think? The same day that Tom Cruise and his fiance Katie Holmes gave birth to their daughter Suri, Brook Shields had her second baby as well. For those of you new to the world of entertainment news, or if you just need a bit of a refresher, last summer, Tom Cruise put down actress Brooke Shields for announcing to the world that she had severe postpartum depression after the birth of her first daughter. The actor stated that medication, or promoting medication, was the wrong way to go, and that he knows about psychiatry better than anyone else!

The arrival of 1st level Thetan-child Suri Cruise sucked out all the air from the celebrity watch universe, which leaves the arrival of Brooke Shields` daughter ON THE SAME DAY as an ironic twist. Little Grier Hammond, the baby of Brooke and hubby Chris Henchy, arrived mere hours before Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes delivered their new daughter, Suri.
What are the odds that Cruise and Shields, who blasted each other last year over the use of medication to combat postpartum depression (PPD), would have their babies on the exact same date?

Anyway, congrats to both Brooke and Katie for coming through just fine and best of luck to both -- to Brooke, who may suffer some postpartum depression, and to Kate, who will suffer during her postpartum deprogramming. Either way, we are all hoping that Katie isn`t the one who ends up with postpartum depression, because we all know that she will not be receiving any pills from Tom to help her through those tough days!!
