The Gossip Never Stops For Brad and Angie

It seems that regardless of where Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt go in the world they cannot escape the entertainment industry and gossip columns. Everyone knows that when you are celebrity you must accept all that the entertainment industry dishes out, and generally this is not an easy task. But one would think that in the middle of Africa, a couple who is devoted to helping those less fortunate, would not get slammed. Of course, as only the entertainment industry can teach us, we are of course wrong, and Angie and Brad are reportedly said to have pissed off locals in Namibia.

Bodyguards for the actress, whose preparing to give birth in the African country, and Brad have been accused of threatening local people. Reporters and photographers have been threatened with physical violence (although they should be used to that), local children have been chased off public beaches and roads have been closed off around the resort where the famous couple are staying. Locals are becoming increasingly angered by the behaviour of the star?s minder Mickey Brett and his security team, especially as they?ll have to put up with it for at least six weeks until ?Brangelina? leave.

"I sympathise with Brad Pitt and Angelina because they do want privacy, but on the other hand they are public figures and there is a lot of interest in their visit. From what I hear they are nice people but their security guys most certainly aren`t," a resident has told a Namibian newspaper. Regardless of whether or not the gossip surrounding this couple is true or not, there is something to be said about the pair planning to give birth to their child in this country. Not only are they bringing awareness to the rest of the world, but they are aiding Africa`s poorest countries more than anyone could have hoped for.
