Documentary Goes Big on Amazon

The great Chicago fire of 1871 had left this great city nearly erased. The people of Chicago, 22 years later, decide it`s time to fully bounce back and show the world it is still standing. They do this by putting on the biggest World`s Fair ever seen. Inecom Entertainment Company`s new DVD, `Expo ? Magic of the White City` has been very recently released, and has ranked #1 as the best-selling documentary on Amazon

`EXPO - Magic of the White City` had its world premiere screening last night at Chicago`s Museum of Science and Industry. This historic structure built for the World`s Fair was originally known as the Palace of Fine Arts, and is the only remaining building from the Columbian Exposition. Narrated by Gene Wilder, `EXPO - Magic of the White City` was filmed in High Definition and is available at national retail outlets.

The Fair debuted the Ferris Wheel, Cracker Jack, Aunt Jemima, and multitudes of other new things that we live with today, and inspired Henry Ford, Walt Disney and Frank Lloyd Wright. Dubbed `The White City,` the Exposition was visited by 28 million people when the American population was only about 68 million. It was built to rival and exceed the Paris World`s Fair of 1889, where the Eiffel Tower debuted.
