New Film `The Perfect Stranger` in Theaters

A new independent film, `The Perfect Stranger`, based on the bestselling Random House/Waterbrook Press novel, `Dinner With a Perfect Stranger` by David Gregory, began screening in theaters on October 28th, in select cities across the Midwest. This movie ponders the deep-rooted questions that every person comtemplates, but never takes the time to share with others. With the various subjects covered during the course of the movie, audiences will leave the theaters with much to think about and reflect on.

The film stars Pamela Brumley as a skeptical lawyer who finds herself spending an evening in a restaurant debating a mysterious stranger who claims that he is Jesus of Nazareth. Their night of conversation includes such timely controversial subjects as the deity of Jesus, the meaning of life, the accuracy of the Bible, and the existence of heaven and hell.

Jefferson Moore, who plays the title role, is also the film`s screenwriter and co-director. It has received the praise of `Left Behind` author Jerry B. Jenkins, who called it a `moving experience`, and as well, has been awarded a four-star rating from The Dove Foundation. Comments from test screenings have commended it for its broad appeal to both Christian AND non-churchgoing audiences. The film is being repped by L.A. entertainment consultant Seth Willenson, a veteran of other faith-based films including `Luthor` and `Megiddo`.
