First Film `Fat Chance` from Ton of Gold

`Fat Chance`, the highly anticipated first full-length feature film is now availabe on DVD. The independent romantic comedy is the first film completed by Ton of Gold Productions, Inc. The movie, which focuses on a funny journey, features an overweight, overrought, over-forty man looking for the love of his life. With recent hits such as `Sideways` and `Napolean Dynamite`, there is proof that the public wants something different in the films they view, which is why Ton of Gold felt it was time for them to make their mark.

The film which was completed by Walt Jenkins, a 30-year Hollywood veteran, stars Stu Gold, Breven Warren who is also seen in Transporter 2 as the character Lola`s body double, and Tim O`Rien. A full team of local talent which included over 56 local actors assisted in the creation of `Fat Chance`. The story follows the ups and downs of finding that special someone all while having fun.

The movie is from the screenplay and creation of Stu Gold, who is a graduate of New York University and relocated to the warm climate of the Gold Coast to pursue independent filmaking in areas other than the normal New York City or Los Angeles backround usually seen. The movie was filmed in the Tampa Bay, Florida area and includes Palmetto, Brandenton, and Anna Maria Island. Filmed on HD video in over a month period provided over 24 hours of raw footage to be edited by the team at Cyberstream which is headed by Walt Jenkins. The final cut was completed after 3 months of editing and refinishing.
