Janine Bentivegna Photo Exhibit in Cleveland

There is a special exhibition going on at the Cleveland Hopkins Airport Gallery. The one-woman photography show by award winning photographer, Janine Bentivegna, reflects the ethnic, urban, and industrial backgrounds of the various people inhabiting Cleveland and the enitre Midwest. The collection can be viewed by all ticketed passengers. The exhibit will run from November 25th, 2005 through to February 28th, 2006.

Janine is a people-person who has the knack to make her subjects at-ease. Her portfolio ranges from distinguished images of boardroom leaders to heart-wrenching photographs of a homeless mother. `I enjoy depicting a no-frills yet passionate story, trying not to stray too far from the grit and grime of Cleveland`s industrial base. My work mirrors my blue collar roots. I communicate via the camera to capture boardroom leaders and to provide a voice to the voiceless.`

Janine Bentivegna is an award-winning photographer. The Cleveland Press Club has recognized her numerous times for her outstanding work. She owns and operates a successful commercial photography business in Greater Cleveland since 1988. A Cooper School of Art graduate, Janine`s style has evolved to portraying people in everyday environments with precision and flair.

Her work appears regularly in national and regional business publications. Janine`s clients include industrial concerns, government agencies, attorneys and management consultants. She specializes in environmental portraits, editorial and corporate images. Her formal training in studio photography has given Janine the `quality skills` and `perceptive eye` to capture images for people to remember. Janine`s images have been seen in local galleries and in regional photography exhibitions, such as `Pictures from the Edge`, a national touring show illuminating the issue of homelessness, the Women`s Bicentennial Photography Project, The Community Portrait Gallery at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, and, the Free Times, `Faces of Cleveland` art exhibit.
