Six Day Slide Live on TV

`Six Day Slide`, a singing group native to Boston, will perform their single `New Day` live, at 8:15 A.M. on the Fox 25 Morning News on Friday, December 2nd. The band will use this opportunity to let everyone know about the third annual Rock for a Cause charity concert. The concert will take place at Merrimack College in North Andover, MA. Proceeds will benefit the VH1 Save the Music Foundation. This year`s show, in Merrimack`s Sakowich Center on December 3rd, is rumored to be the best ever, with proceeds benefiting school music programs in the New Orleans area devastated by Hurricane Katrina.

Their appearance on Fox 25 will be the first television exposure for Six Day Slide, and a great opportunity for new listeners to be exposed to their unique indie-pop sound. This will be the band`s third time playing Rock for a Cause, which has raised thousands of dollars for various charities over the past three years.

Originally conceived as a fundraiser for the families of the victims of the Station nightclub fire in 2003, this will be the second year the show will work in conjunction with VH1`s Save the Music Foundation, striving to keep music programs alive in our nation`s schools. Six Day Slide is proud to be continually involved with such a great cause year after year, and hopes that as many people as possible will join them for this fantastic event, and also tune in to the Fox 25 Morning News to check out their sound.
