The Cleveland Plain Dealer Enlists Recovering Sorority Girls as Writers
The Society of Recovering Sorority Girls, with founders Kristina `Morgan` Rose and Deandra `Brooksie` Brooks, have accepted the offer to be monthly columnists for the Cleveland Plain Dealer quarterly. The girls plan on bringing the party life to all different aspects of society.
`I hope Cleveland is ready to party, because we`re certainly ready to give them plenty of ways to do it,` concluded Rose. The Society of Recovering Sorority Girls is an elite organization devoted to a life less ordinary. Its founders, Kristina `Morgan` Rose and Deandra `Brooksie` Brooks firmly believe in applying many of the principles of collegiate Greek life to improve the leisure activities of young professionals everywhere. Morgan and Brooksie are also the authors of The Recovering Sorority Girls` Guide to a Year?s Worth of Perfect Parties.
`We are thrilled to be writing for the Plain Dealer,` stated Rose, who hails from the Cleveland suburb of Solon, Ohio. Each column will include a party plan and offer tips for the party?s food, decorations, and atmosphere. While the format will be similar to Rose and Brooks? The Recovering Sorority Girls? Guide to a Year?s Worth of Perfect Parties, the content will be exclusive to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
`This will definitely be a lot of fun,` added Brooks, also a Buckeye, from Xenia, Ohio. `We`ll be able to offer party plans that immediately resonate with trends in today?s society and culture.` Rose and Brooks` first column, an excerpt from their book, appeared in the PDQ on Sunday, September 11th. Their second column ran on Sunday, October 16th, featuring a wine tasting party unique to their home state of Ohio. A third column is scheduled for publication on Sunday, November 13th.
