This year`s International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival in Tempe, Arizona, awarded Bivas Biswas `The Most Promising Filmmaker` prize for his short APT. 3157. The audience watches as a woman moves into a new apartment. After hearing and seeing unexplainable things, she is quite certain a murder has happened in her apartment. Unfortunately, she has actually witnessed her own demise. The film features the abilities of Deanna Moraga, Tom Blackwood, Kenette Haynes, and Katie McGinley-Colman, a cast that takes the audience from the safety of a kitchen to `seeing` a horrific murder. The creative force of director and producer Bivas Biswas, co-producer Peter King and writer Serena Torres-Webbe bring this supernatural thriller to life.
`A tight, well-thought out story, compelling storytelling and a few unexpected twists make APT. 3157 a short worth seeing,` said Brian Pulido, an award winning film director, Co-Founder and Festival Director of the International Horror Sci-Fi Film Festival and the creator of Chaos comics and Lady Death. The film is currently being dubbed in Spanish. DVD of the film will include cast and crew interviews and behind the scenes footage and is planned to be released by the end of this year.
