Reeve subject of new Almighty Love Noise song

Superman has long been known as an icon of strength and courage, and most fans agree that no one has ever exemplified that more than the late "Superman" movie-star himself, Christopher Reeve.

It`s that courage that inspired rock band "Almighty Love Noise" to create their latest single "Man of Steel". This is what Swan, the lead singer of ALN had to say about it: "Creating of `Man of Steel` was inspired by the heroics of Christopher Reeve, not on-screen but off-screen. He didn`t take pity on himself, but used his misfortune to bring attention to spinal cord injury research, something that could help millions of people. So we hope that `Man of Steel` we lives up to his legacy."

Swan says that he looks forward to Warner Brothers considering "Man of Steel" for the upcoming feature film "Superman Returns".

"All the Superman films had great scores attached to them, and no less is expected in the new film `Superman Returns` that is scheduled to be released by Warner Brothers in 2006. We would like `Man of Steel` to be included in the soundtrack, of course, but that would be all up to the top brass at Warner Brothers," he said.

"Almighty Love Noise" is also donating a portion of the proceeds from the sales of the single to the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation.
