Hospitalized Children Get Holiday Cheer
Celebrities have joined forces to spread some holiday cheer for hospitalized children. `Holiday Magic 2005, A Gift for Children of All Ages,` is an entertainment CD featuring stories, music, and a special holiday tale. The CD will be distributed to these children in various hospitals.
Throughout the CD, a narrative is weaved by Jeffrey the Reindeer and Santa Claus as they make their way from the North Pole to visit the children of San Diego, California (where the Holiday Magic CD tradition was started three years ago). Along the way, they meet Jeffrey`s cousin, Carlito, who lives at the Wild Animal Park. The script by Mark Patterson stars voice actors Phillip Tanzilo, Greg Dehm, and Jeffrey Gelder playing Santa, Carlito, and Jeffrey Reindeer, respectively. `This is a labor of love that is received with much joy by children who are unfortunately spending the holiday season in the hospital and their siblings, who often crave attention due to so much being given to the ailing member of their family,` Gelder said.
The CD brims with collectible treasures from a roster of sparkling artists and media celebrities, including award-winning anchor Beth Shelburne of KFMB-TV, loved author and film talent Vanna Bonta, and KyXy 96.5fm director Sam Bass. Among many musicians contributing their entertaining magic to the collection are movie and television composer Sharon Farber, innovative harpist Bobbie Jo Curley, TV episodic hit songwriter Meredith Chapman, Karl Anthony, Eve Selis, and Kerry Michael Warren.
