Mike Esterman Gets Role in `Syriana`

Mike Esterman of Esterman Talent, a well-known celebrity agent, has finally gotten his big break. Although he has worked with some of the most famous names in Hollywood - like The Black Eyed Peas and Carmen Electra to Paris Hilton and Playmates of the Year - he has finally acted in a small role in one of the most controversial movies to come out in years, `Syriana`.

Known for `doing the jobs that the big boys can`t do`, Esterman delivers a solid, if not brief performance on the screen. But to be a part of what looks to be an Oscar nominated film is no small feat. Complex and interesting, the movie Syriana is sure to stir the pot of controversy about how much the average American really knows about the Middle East. The movie is riveting, never boring and peppered with some great performances that are sure to be recognized come Oscar time. One of the performances, however really stands out to a lot of Hollywood celebs. That`s because the face of the Russian man portrayed on the screen is none other than their own celebrity agent Mike Esterman. Esterman has made a career of placing major celebs in movies, TV shows, red carpet premieres, VIP parties, etc., but now it`s him that`s in the spotlight.

`I went through the entire audition process and it was amazing. Now I know what my clients go through and that`s one of the reasons I wanted to do this movie. To feel what my clients feel when they are going after a role.` In Syriana, ther are a million plots and twists that you never see coming. Well, Hollywood certainly didn`t see Mike Esterman coming. At least not as a face on the Big Screen. As far as having other film roles in his future? `Hey,` says Esterman `that was hard work. I think I`ll stick with staying on the other side of the ropes and continue to do the best job I can for my clients,` he said.
