UK Film Organization to Include Various Star Types

A new international film foundation/organization has two major Hollywood stars in talks about backing the organization as a figurehead. In addition, a major Broadway star is also considering representing the theatrical side of the foundation with his name. The proposed organization has the full support of a trustee of one of the most top entertainment organizations in the world.

One of the main problems with the industry in Europe is that it isn`t managed and has, it would appear, next to no knowledge of marketing or promotion. These industries need to be shown that talent and product can be better managed than it has been and still is. A mechanism needs to be in place that recognizes talent and gives it the means to grow, like the BBC used to. Government schemes always get it wrong, you name it. They either give funding to be spent on production rather than distribution or they just throw cash like seed on fallow land.

Talent is used, abused and spat discarded in the European film and music industries. The organization will break down the barriers for new talent. mIt will combine the commercial flair of Hollywood and creative and technical skills of Europe, to Train and Nurture new talent. Although there are numerous similar organizations around, they only join the long list of what has gone before and will have little effect. The corporations set up by the organization will directly intercede into the market with talents and products that are sustainable and have longevity.
