Team Compete Hands Out XBox360
Team CompeteTM is offering a new sweepstakes drawing - team members are going to award two of the new Xbox360 consoles to paid members of their site. This is the first time Team Compete is giving awards to any of its members. The team felt it needed to show appreciation for the ongoing and loyal support of its members. For entry into the sweepstakes, all applicants must hold paid members status. Winning odds will be determined by the amount of members on the site at the time of the drawing.
Xbox360 will launch its debut in the US in early November and Team Compete will draw for a winner who will receive one of these new consoles. This will take place around the 1st of October and again around the 15th of November.
To categorize the motivation for the sweepstakes Van Gelder commented, `We`re re-invigorating our community that has been with us now in some cases for almost 3 years and helped us become the largest Xbox Live competition site on the web. We have invested a lot to build the new systems they are purchasing and we want to provide a meaningful incentive for them to stick with Team Compete during this transition to a subscription service. We felt that the Xbox360 would be a meaningful gift for our loyal users and wanted to have a way to say thanks to them for helping us accomplish what we have over the past several years.`
`This is the first time we have conducted a sweepstakes drawing for our members,` said The Veeg, founder of Team Compete. `With our recent conversion to an all paid user site we feel it important to plow as much of the funds received back into the community and this is a significant prize for our gamers who are all scrambling currently to figure out how and what they are going to purchase when the new models come out.
