Cream reunited for the first time in 20 years to give an unforgettable concert performance at London`s Royal Albert Hall during four immensely successful nights. The reunion was recorded, and will be available on DVD (Rhino) and CD (Reprise Records) beginning October 4th, 2005. These triumphant reunion performances were brilliantly captured on HD and 5.1 surround sound for the DVD and CD releases. The famous group ? members including Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce, and Eric Clapton ? was originally formed in 1966 and separated in 1968. In this little span of time, the band produced three influential albums, `Fresh and Cream` (1966), `Disraeli Gears` (1967) and `Wheels of Fire` (1968), solidifying worldwide fame and success with their exclusive sound of electrified blues.
Cream was a creative and thriving live band, and constantly toured in their brief but incredible history. The last time the band played together was in 1993 when they were inaugurated into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Los Angeles.
