Pros and Hip-Hop artists unite for aid group

TRI Records is set to launch its EP titled "Spirit of the Game." The CD, which is Hip-Hop artist J Fatz`s (BMI) debut project, includes performances by newcomers LeWayne Scott and Alisa Claridy, including the bonus track, "Its All About You" featuring seasoned veteran Dr. S. Love of Wil Hart & the Delfonics "La La Means I Love You". The release, slated for September 11, 2005, opening day of the NFL Season, harnesses the influence of Professional Athletes and the mass appeal of the Hip-Hop Culture to raise awareness and participation in combating Aids in Africa and providing aid to those left helpless by natural Disasters such as the Tsunami.

"Hip-Hop is the perfect platform to engage in a global cause, because it is a global culture," said rapper J Fatz, who`s legal name is Jacar Perry.

"I feel that these songs will motivate anyone who listens to them to do something, and I look forward to working with representatives from all major sports in Canada and the U.S. to get the word out," said Pomp Braswell II, of the Canadian PGA Tour.

The release is in conjunction with the 7 Sports Contest, which gives contestants the opportunity to appear in an upcoming J Fatz video and win a 3-day trip for two to Super Bowl XL in Detroit, MI Feb 3-6, 2006. Proceeds from the CD will benefit the Swing of Faith Foundation based in San Antonio, TX, which is focused on providing local and worldwide aid to youth outreach and mission efforts.
