SoHo Firm Recognized as Diversity Supplier by Time Warner
Leading independent interactive agency ROKKAN, based out of the SoHo district in Manhattan, New York City, has reportedly received recognition from Time Warner, Inc. (TW) as one of TW`s top MWBE (Minority and Women Businesses) suppliers, according to ROKKAN itself due to the group`s ability to leverage and reflect diversity into their creative strategies. Time Warner recognizes ROKKAN as their interactive agency and commends them for their capacity to utilize diversity in their unique services.
ROKKAN has reportedly collaborated with Time Warner, Inc. on many different projects since 2003, and has formed a strong relationship with this particular high-visibility client. Said John Noe, CEO of ROKKAN, following the announcement, "Time Warner was our first media client, and we have a good relationship with them. It`s always helpful when startomg out in this business to be involved with an industry leader."
Simply by noting the COO`s name, it is easy to see that ROKKAN is comprised of numerous ethnicities, thus enabling them to offer clients superior creative. "Madison Avenue may pay lip service to diversity, but doesn?t really want to bother with it," says Chung Ng, ROKKAN`s Chief Operations Officer. "Here at ROKKAN we`re diverse by default, and we ensure that our creative strategies reflect and exploit that diversity."
