Which are the Best Cars All Round?

With so many cars on the market, it is difficult to pin point which one is most suitable for you and your family. In this day and age, when fuel prices continue to soar, you will obviously look for a car that is good on gas. However, that?s not the only criteria. You will need a car that answers yes to all your requirements regarding seating, baggage space and size. A recently compiled list gave the all-round best cars in five different categories: luxury, family sedan, sports car, SUV and subcompact.

The best luxury vehicle was voted as the Mercedes Benz E321 CDI. Valued at around $50,000, the car has a high mileage diesel engine. In the sports section car section, nothing seems able to beat the Chevrolet Corvette. Valued at $45,000, the car is an excellent performer ? especially on highways.
The hands-down winner in the family sedan section was Toyota?s Camry. The car?s extraordinary comfort and fuel consumption seems to make it a firm family favorite.

Toyota also came through in the compact car section with its little Corolla. Priced at an economical $15,000, the Corolla has excellent fuel mileage thrown in for good measure. Finally, the crossover/wagon section winner is ? yet again ? a Toyota car! The $22,000 Rav4 offers excellent handling, loads of space and the choice of two engine types ? four cylinders or the new V6.
