Lipstick Business Goes Retro

Sometimes small businesses are the ones to suggest the most novel approach to a familiar product. For a long time the make-up industry has been monopolized by major companies like Revlon and Estee Lauder. However, today small businesses are the ones to discover the most original marketing solutions. One company in particular has decided to recreate the glamour and the elegance of the 20`s, 30`s and 40`s. Besame Cosmetics have been stirring quite a noise in the market for a while.

The company`s founder, Gabriela Hernandez, was inspired with old-Hollywood divas such as Rita Hayworth and Betty Davis, when she thought of launching her cosmetics company. She conducted an incredibly thorough research on the style and the texture of that period of time, in order to restore the retro allure. The lipstick cases, and the makeup containers all come in special vintage design. The ingredients for Besame Cosmetics are also created according to different modern formulas that contain less harmful elements.

Currently, Besame Cosmetics has succeeded to triple its annual revenue and is intending to make it big on the market. At first, the make up was sold solely via the company`s website. However, now numerous retail stores are featuring this popular brand. Hernandez states that the secret of her success is company`s emphasize on the unique vintage design. Seeing the success story her company is, Hernandez does not plan to stop here.
