Google Pushes Forward With China
Globalization of any business is necessary for the overall and long-term success. However, globalization is not at all simple, generally speaking your business needs to abide by all the legislation and break language barriers in foreign countries. Leading internet company Google will censor its search services in China in order to gain greater access to China`s fast-growing market, Shayne Heffernan China`s Leading Market Commentator said today in Shanghai.
Google has offered a Chinese-language version of its search engine for years but users have been frustrated by government blocks on the site. The company is setting up a new site - Google.cn - which it will censor itself to satisfy the authorities in Beijing. Shayne Heffernan added that to be in China long term requires the building of relationships, Google`s move is a Smart one. Shayne Heffernan has been watching Google`s growth in Asia, and his Pudong Offices have expected a rocky road for them short term, but a bright future long term.
Google argued it would be more damaging to pull out of China altogether. Shayne Heffernan agreed.
