Furniture Provider Changes HQ Locale

Wilmington, North Carolina-based "Great Priced Furniture" has announced the purchase of a three acre property adjoining their corporate headquarters on Raleigh Street near the Wilmington State Port Authority. Part of an on-going expansion program, the facility includes a 19,500 square foot building which will be converted into a warehousing facility. One of the early pioneers of online furniture retailing, Great Priced Furniture is on-target to achieve a sales growth rate of 78% this year. The company is North Carolina`s largest furniture retailer online.

Efficient warehousing and shipping is a very important aspect of our customer`s buying experience. It enhances their overall satisfaction. This will be a `state of the art` warehouse facility and an essential part of our strategy to handle current and future growth."

Great Priced Furniture employs 28 staff members and the new property acquisition increases the company`s total campus to 20 acres and 35,000 sq. ft. of office and warehouse space. Great Priced Furniture fulfills most customers` furniture orders in three weeks or less on in-stock items. This short delivery time also applies to the company`s nationwide Platinum White Glove residential delivery service which includes furniture placement, assembly, and packaging removal.
