A Business that Helps Save the World

In a world where has become a key factor for most daily events, it is important to know that we will not damage our planet. Already there is the problem of the ozone layers, and smog is a big issue in most major cities. In a bold move instigated by Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels, Mayors from 38 states across the U.S. have signed a ?Climate Protection Agreement? to reduce greenhouse gasses and pollution and thwart climate disruption. As of December 8th, 195 Mayors representing more than 40 million Americans have signed the Climate Protection Agreement. In support of the Mayors across the nation and the Climate Protection Agreement, the Alternative Energy Store, one of the largest providers of renewable energy products to customers around the globe, will offer a 5 percent discount to anyone that resides in the towns that have signed the agreement.

In signing the Climate Protection Agreement, Mayors across the country have committed to: Striving to meet or exceed the targets of the Kyoto Protocol, an international agreement to address climate disruption, Urging Federal and State government to quickly enact policies and programs that would essentially reduce greenhouse gas emissions and urging U.S. Congress to pass bipartisan Greenhouse Gas Reduction legislation thereby establishing a national emission trading system.

?Global warming is an immediate health and environmental threat. Even though there are local policies in place, quick, pro-active action needs to be taken in order to protect our communities,? noted Sascha Deri, president of the Alternative Energy Store. The business strongly supports the ?Climate Protection Agreement? and offer individuals, schools, town offices and businesses a 5 percent discount on any of their alternative energy systems and related components.
